These Clarks are at least 7 years old and have looked after but very worn. I never wore socks or stockings with them. They are flaking on the inside because my sweaty feet rubbed so much on them. I want to say they smell kind of musky with a bit of sour tang but with a hint of lanolin cream I used to keep the leather moist a year ago. It's has noticeable feet and soul indent do you know they are well loved. Kind of sad to see them go to be honest.
