How much do you trust your wits? How much you pay depends on how long it takes you to solve the puzzle. The consequences are all in your hands!

Are you familiar with the game Mastermind? In it, one player (me) chooses a sequence of colored pegs. The other player (you) are trying to guess a sequence correctly. You get an indication of each color you get right and each color in the correct location after each attempt. It’s a logic game!

How does this work as a drain game? I’m glad you asked! There is a financial penalty for each incorrect location, a higher penalty for each incorrect color, and a much higher penalty if you never solve the puzzle before running out of turns.

Looking to adjust the difficulty?
—The game can be made easier or harder by having a shorter or longer pattern and disallowing or allowing repeated colors.

—To add more pressure, I can add in a timer for each turn and/or the entire game.

—If you think you’re really smart, we can add a minimum number of expected turns to get the sequence right. If you solve it faster than that, it makes the goddess angry because she likes being intellectually superior, and you’ll pay the biggest penalty of all.
